Bring on Spring! I'm ready to leave the blustery wind and rainy days behind. Since I have no say in the weather, I at least try to adjust my wardrobe to accommodate such finicky temperaments. I’ve learned to really rely on versatile pieces that can transition effortlessly from one season to the next. Check out some of my favorite closet staples and let me know what ya think! And tell me how you would style these pieces.
I love a this Florence Mini Dress in Creme Brûlée by Spell.  It’s got all that sweet flirtiness you want in a spring frock, and the ability to transform with accessories.  Pair it with a jean jacket and tennies for day, dress it up with a leather bomber and clogs for night or tuck those sleeves into the sides and hit the beach with spaghetti straps.  (BTW every woman needs a jean jacket in her closet, and this one is the one! A jean jacket is an absolute staple that remains in style always and literally goes with everything!)

If I had a uniform it would most certainly be jeans and a t-shirt.  The classic duo remain a favorite because of the way you can incorporate unique accessories to keep the look reinvented and fresh. Frame makes the softest, best fitting denim I have ever slid into. I mean so comfortable, I can easily transition between mom and ninja.

Now, let me tell you about how absolutely in love I am with the Acacia Mombasa shirt dress!  Although I'm a bit too tall to wear this shirt dress as an actual dress I still find it is one of my biggest “go-to's”.  Wear this piece open over a tee as a cardigan, tie it at the bottom for a cool button up, or tie the 2 front button panels in loose knots to give the appearance of a short sleeve jacket. This versatile piece is one that Acacia continually produces from season to season in new prints. We’re always stoked for the next print release!
A tunic is another garment that can fill the need of both blouse and dress.  I pair the Spell, City Lights Tunic with Crystal Clogs by Bed Stu as a dress that I can wear to work and rock at dinner later that night.  As a blouse, I like to dress it with jean shorts and slides for running errands or driving my 2 kids to their million and one activities.

Don't forget that accessories like bags, shoes, sunglasses, jewelry and even lip color play a huge role in changing the vibe of your style, so don't overlook the details.
